carbX – Scope for measurable sustainability

carbX – Scope for measurable sustainability

The next step towards greater climate responsibility: At our company, acting sustainably starts with tangible measures. That's why we're launching carbX – a new product label that helps customers factor climate considerations into their product choices. carbX is our label for carbon-offset products – in other words, products in respect of which unavoidable emissions are offset financially. This label provides clear guidance for customers, helping them consider the climate when deciding on materials.

Reduce emissions wherever possible
Right from the production stage, we take specific steps to reduce CO2. These include using solar power, utilising materials responsibly and opting for production processes that safeguard resources. Our aim is to systematically minimise the impact our plastic products have on the climate.

Offsetting unavoidable emissions
In cases where, despite our best efforts, CO2 emissions cannot be avoided, these are offset financially. Our carbX-labelled products are therefore carbon-offset products. This provides customers with a transparent, reliable basis for making eco-conscious decisions.

Measurable added value and regulatory certainty
carbX makes it possible to measure climate impact. Our carbX-labelled products can help companies achieve their climate objectives within the context of Scope 3 emissions.

What's more, carbX provides planning certainty in an increasingly regulated market environment.
Rising carbon pricing rates, measures relating to the European Green Deal and stricter environmental and reporting obligations are increasing requirements right along the supply chain.

carbX helps customers factor in these requirements at an early stage, minimise risks and implement sustainability reporting in a transparent, documentable way.

A growing concept
carbX is not a static label, but instead a systematically structured concept. The portfolio is being gradually expanded on a continuous basis. We're starting with products in our ecoline sustainable product range. Other products are set to follow.

Pallet enclosures made from ecoline Defined with carbX

Pallet enclosures made from ecoline Defined with carbX

A carbon-offset product that is verified, robust and reliable

Made from sustainable, recycled PP, our new generation of TRIPLEX pallet enclosures exhibit defined load values and are a carbon-offset product. They are precisely tailored to each customer's specific requirements and are fundamentally manufactured as carbX products.

A product that combines sustainability and reliability for the first time
The seemingly impossible has now been achieved: The TP 10/3000 g/m² ecoline Defined version of the TRIPLEX pallet enclosure is the first validated product made from recycled PP to exhibit defined applied load values and, therefore, offer reproducible quality. It is predictable, robust, reliable and suitable for series production. And that's not all. This pallet enclosure is manufactured fundamentally as a carbX product, so you can be sure the associated carbon emissions have been offset.

Because it is important to us, and because we take our responsibility to the market and the environment seriously, we are acting quickly to gear our product development to the requirements of the EU's new Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). That means we are already complying with key regulatory requirements – and offering a future-proof solution.

A genuine innovation
Recycled polypropylene is considered unpredictable. After all, defined values for applied load and reproducible material properties have been the preserve of virgin PP products – until now. ecoline Defined has changed all that. The controlled production of this recycled PP results in defined, reproducible material qualities. This means that, for the first time, the pallet enclosure can be subject to system-independent testing to produce reliable values for applied load. This results in assured quality for every single delivery. This is new on the market in this particular combination.

What makes pallet enclosures made from ecoline Defined unique

  • Defined quality of the recycled PP
  • Verified values for applied load
  • Consistent, reproducible material properties
  • High levels of process and application reliability
  • Carbon-offset as standard, thanks to carbX

Sustainability you can rely on
Thanks to TRIPLEX pallet enclosures made from TP 10/3000 g/m² ecoline Defined, carbX, recycled polypropylene is now a high-performance alternative to virgin PP – offering virtually identical load-bearing capacity and a better environmental footprint. A carbon-offset product made from defined recycled material – the future of sustainable container management is here now.

Customised and ready for series production
The TP 10/3000 g/m² ecoline Defined, carbX version of our TRIPLEX pallet enclosures is produced on a customised basis and tailored to the relevant container and large-load carrier systems.

ecoline – Not just recycled.

Recycled materials – sustainable and environmentally friendly

At a time when the effects of climate change are increasingly making themselves felt and our planet’s resources are becoming ever scarcer, it is more important than ever that we all take responsibility and opt for sustainable measures.

Using recycled polypropylene (recycled PP) offers an effective way of reducing our ecological footprint and making a positive contribution towards protecting the environment. Use of recycled plastic enables us to not only reduce waste and conserve resources, but also cut our CO2 emissions, thus minimising our impact on the environment. By opting for recycled PP, we are demonstrating our commitment to a circular economy and resource-friendly production.

Each and every one of us can play a part in preserving our planet for future generations – so let’s seize the opportunity to use recycled materials and together take advantage of environmentally responsible solutions. It’s time to take action and press ahead with the transformation to a sustainable future.

Together, we can shape the future!

NextLoop service

Recycling of offcuts, stamping waste, pallet enclosures and other PP industrial waste at our plants in Gera and Haiterbach. Recovery and processing of top-quality regranulate that is recycled to a high standard and subject to ongoing quality controls in the Infinex Group’s own recycling plants.
ecoline NextLoop

Use of environmentally friendly structuredcore panels, twin-wall sheets and pallet enclosures in many different branches of industry. At the end of their lifecycle, these products are recycled so they can be returned to the value cycle. Manufacture of structured-core panels, twin-wall sheets and pallet enclosures. Resource-friendly production from 100% recycled polypropylene.

Infinex Repoly and the NextLoop service –
the perfect combination

Both structured-core panels and twin-wall sheets are made from pure polypropylene. This is a valuable raw material that should remain in circulation with a view to protecting the environment and conserving resources. Our NextLoop initiative has been providing this important service for many years now. Regardless of what the panels and sheets are used to make, once these products have reached the end of their lifecycle, we are happy to take them back and recycle them so they can be returned to the value cycle.

key element of this environmental service is Infinex Repoly, the recycling company that is part of our Group. Through this company, we can make an important contribution to conserving our resources and protecting the environment. Repoly, the specialist in plastic granulates and compounds, takes PP industrial waste, such as defective pallet enclosures, offcuts, stamping waste and edge trimmings, and turns it into sorted, high-quality recycled material. This allows for precise control over which source materials form part of the recycled material, meaning all products in the new ecoline range can be perfectly tailored to specific customer requirements.

Our commitment to the circular economy and sustainability means we can offer you the opportunity to dispose of your PP products in an eco-friendly way and take a positive step towards protecting the environment. Together, we can help ensure a sustainable future for generations to come.
